Hayden proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the San Manuel Miners 9-7. That's more bragging rights for the Lobos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hayden is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for San Manuel, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-5.
