St. Peter had won four straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped up to 5-1 to make it five. They secured a 26-21 W over the Albert Lea Tigers. The Saints have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Having lost for the first time this season, Albert Lea fell to 5-1. The loss was their first of the season.

Albert Lea lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Teaghen Tolbers, who rushed for 36 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 88 yards and one TD.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. Peter is set to face off against their familiar foe New Ulm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Albert Lea will take on rival Waseca at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Tigers 13.7, the Bluejays 7.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
