The Elizabeth Forward Warriors entered their tilt with the Southmoreland Scotties with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Elizabeth Forward blew past the Scotties 83-63. That 20 point margin sets a new team best for Elizabeth Forward this season.
Several Scotties players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ty Keffer, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Noah Felentzer, who scored 15 points.
Elizabeth Forward's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Southmoreland, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-5 record this season.
Elizabeth Forward will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Colonials at 7:30 p.m. Albert Gallatin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully the Warriors like a good challenge. As for Southmoreland, they will head out on the road to take on the Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Uniontown focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Tuesday.
