Washington is 1-9 against the Bulldogs since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Chris Knight was his usual excellent self, shooting 5-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Jadyce Thigpen was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
McKinley has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 58-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brunswick. That's two games in a row now that McKinley has lost by exactly four points.
Washington's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for McKinley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.
