The Etna Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. Their tough 56-35 loss to Weed might stick with them for a while. Etna has struggled against Weed recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Alayja Oliver, who scored 25 points along with four steals for Weed. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Oliver has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklynn Bivens, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Etna has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Weed, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

Shasta is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Weed, they will be playing at home against Fall River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fall River will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
