Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Huntington Park). They claimed a resounding 61-10 win over the Roosevelt Rough Riders. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Spartans considering their 15-point performance the matchup before.

Huntington Park was led to victory by Ingryd Hernandez and Kandie Chavez. Hernandez posted 28 points, while Chavez scored 21 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Hernandez has scored at least a third of Huntington Park's points.

Huntington Park's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Roosevelt, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huntington Park will face off against South East at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Huntington Park is facing South East at the right time seeing as South East is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Roosevelt, they will square off against Garfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
