After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Joseph, the Riverview Raiders were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 28-13 victory over Jeannette. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Riverview has scored all season.
Riverview's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lily Bauer, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Isabel Chaparro, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds.
Several Jayhawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Adriana Allison, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Navarah Smith, who scored three points along with 13 rebounds.
Riverview has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Jeannette, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Riverview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jeannette also has no future games currently scheduled.
