The Santiago Cavaliers fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Los Amigos Lobos on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lobos by a score of 60-58. Santiago was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lobos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played two weeks ago.
Madeleine Nguyen was a one-man wrecking crew for Los Amigos as she scored 25 points along with six rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nguyen has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mandy Le, who scored 15 points.
Santiago's loss dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Los Amigos, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13.
Santiago does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Los Amigos also has no future games currently scheduled.
