With a playoff win on the line, Olathe Northwest rose to the challenge  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   2-0  victory over the Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers. This was a revenge game for the Ravens: when they faced off against the Trailblazers  back in September, they had to take a  3-1  defeat.
 While Olathe Northwest won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19,  25-23.
 Rosalee Johnson paced Olathe Northwest's offense, picking up 13 kills. Johnson got some help from  Emma Parker and her 15 assists.
Olathe Northwest has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 28-9 record  this season. As for Gardner-Edgerton, their loss  ended  a  five-match streak of away wins  and  brought them to 26-11.
 Coming up, Olathe Northwest will face off against Blue Valley West at 11:00  a.m.  on Friday. Gardner-Edgerton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
