The Desert Christian Academy Conquerors can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They breezed by Nuview Bridge at home to the tune of 72-24. Desert Christian Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Hannah Shaver was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 16 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Damaris Figueroa, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Desert Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Nuview Bridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Desert Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against Santa Rosa Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Nuview Bridge, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School at 5:00 p.m.
