Softball Recap: Model Wins Going Away Against Coosa

While Model put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Coosa. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 17-0 victory. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Model and bumps their season record up to 13-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Coosa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Model will square off against Temple at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coosa, they will be playing at home against Rome at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
