The Roscoe Plowboys won the last time they faced the Hamlin Pied Pipers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Roscoe snuck past Hamlin with a 35-30 win.
Despite the defeat, Hamlin saw an underclassman step up: Ian Gruben scored 12 points. Gruben continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Rivera, who scored 7 points.
Roscoe's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hamlin, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Roscoe will face off against New Deal at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hamlin, they will head out on the road to face off against Knox City at 9:20 a.m. on Thursday. Knox City is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
