If the Torres Toros were riding high off their 47-19 takedown of the Animo Bunche Stallions last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Torres had to suffer through a rough 60-13 loss at the hands of Bravo. Torres has not had much luck with Bravo recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Bravo's win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Janelle Hernandez, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Alyze Mendoza, who scored 13 points.
Torres' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Bravo, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Torres will head out on the road to face off against Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln's defense has only allowed 27.8 points per game this season, so Torres' offense will have their work cut out for Torres. As for Bravo, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Eagle Rock at 4:30 p.m. on December 8th.
