The Perkiomen Valley Vikings stacked a 16th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 64-33 win over Owen J. Roberts. The win was nothing new for Perkiomen Valley as they're now sitting on 12 straight.
Perkiomen Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anna Stein led the charge by scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stein has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Galbavy, who scored 11 points along with seven blocks and three steals.
Perkiomen Valley pushed their record up to 20-1 with that win, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.4 points. As for Owen J. Roberts, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
Perkiomen Valley will head out on the road to square off against Spring-Ford at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Perkiomen Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven contests -- so hopefully Spring-Ford likes a good challenge. As for Owen J. Roberts, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Norristown at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Pennsylvania (Norristown is ranked 305th, while Owen J. Roberts is ranked 329th).
