Gerstell Academy will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Concordia Prep Saints at 5:30 p.m. on December 20th. Hopefully Gerstell Academy is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Concordia Prep in Maryland (Gerstell Academy is ranked 26th, while Concordia Prep is ranked 120th).
Last Saturday, Gerstell Academy might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Mercersburg Academy an easy 60-39 win. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Gerstell Academy has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Concordia Prep lost to Carver Vo-Tech at home by a decisive 55-37 margin last Thursday.
Gerstell Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Concordia Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Everything came up roses for Gerstell Academy against Concordia Prep in their previous matchup back in January of 2015 as the squad secured a 51-23 win. Does Gerstell Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Concordia Prep turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
