Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Livermore). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Ygnacio Valley Wolves 48-19. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Cowboys with their most commanding win of the season.

Livermore found their leader in sophomore Sofia Mahmood, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Angie Bhatia, who scored nine points.

Ygnacio Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Sa'Rye Starks, who put up eight points and four steals. That was a full 42.1% of Ygnacio Valley's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Livermore's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Ygnacio Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Livermore will head out on the road to challenge Galt at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Galt has lost six straight at home , while Livermore has lost 11 on the road (dating back to last season). As for Ygnacio Valley, they will welcome Lower Lake at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
