Woodland Christian extended their home winning streak to 17 games thanks to a huge performance from Teagan Hayes. The Woodland Christian Cardinals walked away with a 43-33 win over the Trinity Wolves on Thursday which was due in part to Hayes, who posted 13 points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 11 times she's played.
Trinity's loss came despite strong showings from Claire Cox and Kloe Kist. Cox almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 11 boards, while Kist shot 44% from the field en route to 16 points and six rebounds. What's more, Cox posted two blocks, the most she's had since back in January of 2024.
Woodland Christian's victory bumped their record up to 28-6. As for Trinity, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 24-8 record.
