When it comes to explaining why Penn Treaty lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aliyah Rogers. Despite the final result, she scored ten points. That was a full 52.6% of Penn Treaty's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Ortiz, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Philadelphia Academy Charter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carmella Gallagher, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gallagher has scored all season. McKenna Alston was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Penn Treaty dropped their record down to 3-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.0 points per game. As for Philadelphia Academy Charter, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
Penn Treaty will be playing at home against George Washington at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
