Mammoth's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nicole Smyth, who scored 17 points along with 9 steals. Another player making a difference was Audrey Borunda, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Trona's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mammoth, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
