Williamsburg entered their tilt with McConnellsburg on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 65-36 win over the McConnellsburg Spartans. The Blue Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 28 points or more this season.

Williamsburg got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Levada Gorsuch out in front who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 14 rebounds. Those 27 points gave Gorsuch a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Leeanna Royer, who posted 17 points along with seven steals and five assists.

Williamsburg smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Williamsburg pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for McConnellsburg, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-5 record.

Williamsburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-18 victory against Northern Bedford County on the 28th. McConnellsburg has also already played their next contest, a 49-43 win against Mount Union on the 28th.
