Lassen came into Tuesday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They enjoyed a cozy 60-41 win over the Anderson Cubs on Tuesday. The Grizzlies' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Lassen's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nellie Ratcliff, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 boards. With that strong performance, Ratcliff is now averaging an impressive 8.3 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Kinley Somerville, who posted 19 points and five steals.

Lassen smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

Payten Ford and Taylor Ford certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Payten dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards, while Taylor dropped a double-double on 13 points and 17 rebounds. Taylor has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more boards the last ten times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Renna Shriner, who scored six points along with six rebounds and three blocks.

Lassen's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-10. As for Anderson, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.

Lassen has already played their next contest, a 59-36 loss against University Prep on the 17th. As for Anderson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-37 victory against Mt. Shasta on the 16th.
