Clarke Central has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Oconee County Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarke Central knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Oconee County likes a good challenge.
Clarke Central stacked a third blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 11-1 margin over East Jackson. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.
Meanwhile, Oconee County had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 4-2 to Sprayberry. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Oconee County couldn't quite close it out.
Clarke Central's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Oconee County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Clarke Central beat Oconee County 3-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Will Clarke Central repeat their success, or does Oconee County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
