The Central Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of Parkdale by a score of 63-61. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Thursday (57), Central still had to take the loss.
Among those leading the charge was Jacob Wilson, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds. Mark Freeland was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Central's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Parkdale, their win ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.
Central will take on Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parkdale, they will be playing at home against Eleanor Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eleanor Roosevelt is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
