It was a good run, but Audenried unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They fell to St. Mary 63-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Audenried lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Aniyah Howard, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Senaya Parker was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five assists and four steals.
Audenried's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for St. Mary's, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Audenried will take on Northeast at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Northeast has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for St. Mary's, they will be playing at home against Neumann-Goretti at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
