There's no place like home for Drew Charter, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Business Engineering Science Tech Eagles on Monday as Drew Charter made off with a 17-1 win. Drew Charter might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by 15 runs or more this season.

Alex DeCarlo and Josiah Rich made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, DeCarlo tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Rich pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, DeCarlo didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. At the plate, DeCarlo went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Rich went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Rich is becoming a predictor of Drew Charter's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-6 when he doesn't).

In other batting news, Kamden Bennett and Tim Whitaker did most of the damage at the plate: Bennett scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Whitaker scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave Whitaker a new career-high. Atticus Forstarter was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Drew Charter is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
