The Classical Academy is 2-8 against Falcon since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Titans will venture away from home to square off against the Falcons at 3:30 p.m. The Classical Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.
The Classical Academy will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs last Friday, then bounced right back against Sand Creek on Tuesday. The Titans put the hurt on the Scorpions with a sharp 13-2 win. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Scorpions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Basil Murphy made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, The Classical Academy got a massive performance out of Rilee Sanson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three hits gave Sanson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ashlyne Cramer, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.
The Classical Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sand Creek only posted an OBP of .318.
Meanwhile, Falcon lost 19-2 to Vista Ridge on Monday. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Falcon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michelle Morales, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.
The Classical Academy's record is now 14-5. As for Falcon, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. The Classical Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .403. However, it's not like Falcon struggles in that department as they've averaged .333. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
The Classical Academy took their win against Falcon in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 8-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
