Two dominant signal callers in Deuce Timmons and Graylyn Fry are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Sulphur Springs Wildcats will head out to face off against the Panther Creek Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Panther Creek will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Sulphur Springs extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 38-14 margin over Lake Dallas. Jaxson Haire had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 167 yards and one TD while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also picking up 79 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Mason Cooper, who threw for 141 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.

Panther Creek's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB six times. The heavy lifting was done by Parker Ord and Donovan Odum, who racked up all six sacks between them. Elyon White was another major factor on D, forcing one fumble, making seven total tackles (1.0 for loss), and defending one pass.
Sulphur Springs' record now sits at 8-1. As for Panther Creek, their record is now an identical 8-1.
