Storm Lake came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Humboldt Wildcats as they made off with a 14-4 victory. The Tornadoes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by eight runs or more this season.

Storm Lake's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Humboldt, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Storm Lake didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against Spencer on the 26th. Humboldt has also already played their next game (against Clear Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
