The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Rodriquez Tommy, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Needles' loss dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for Williams, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
