The Madera South Stallions suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 45-19 walloping at the hands of Fresno. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Madera South has scored all season.
Several Stallions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was MICHELLE CORONA, who scored seven points. JALISSA KIRKPATRICK was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Madera South has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Fresno, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.
Madera South will be playing at home against Torres at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fresno, they will head out on the road to face off against Roosevelt at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Roosevelt will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
