Basketball Recap: Turlock Christian Skates Past Big Valley Christian with Ease

Turlock Christian posted their biggest victory since December 5, 2024 on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Big Valley Christian Lions 44-12. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-3.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Turlock Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Faith Hayes, who went 9 of 19 en route to 18 points along with seven boards and three steals. Hayes is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Christiana Eivaz, who posted six points and 21 rebounds.

Turlock Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.

Turlock Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Big Valley Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Turlock Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-15 defeat against Dos Palos on the 6th. As for Big Valley Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 47-21 loss against Millennium on the 7th.
