Central was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Taylor County apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Central's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Joshua Seldon, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Demarcus White who scored 19 points. White continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Central has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Taylor County, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Central will be playing at home against Marion County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marion County and Central are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Taylor County, they will head out on the road to challenge Macon County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Macon County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Taylor County in Georgia (Macon County is ranked 142nd, while Taylor County is ranked 364th).
