It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Trinity Classical Academy had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Grand Terrace Titans. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on five straight.
Andrew Carlson was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Carlson was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
Carlson wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Visconti, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Trinity Classical Academy's record now sits at 22-2. As for Grand Terrace, they moved to 15-12 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
