Valeria Vega was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthonella Bitoka, who scored 12 points.
University Pathways Medical Magnet's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Grant, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.
University Pathways Medical Magnet is on the road again on Thursday and play against Sun Valley Magnet at 2:00 p.m. on January 4th. Grant won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Fulton at 3:30 p.m. on January 4th. Fulton comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
