Even though Wood has not done well against Rodriguez recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. In what's become a running theme this season, Grant gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 67-3 win over Burbank. That 64 points margin sets a new team best for Grant this season.
Wood now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Grant, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-3.
