Elk Grove entered their tilt with Sheldon on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp  11-1 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Thundering Herd, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Elk Grove pushed their record up to 17-9 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Sheldon,  they are  on  a  14-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-17.
