Pueblo Central came tearing into  Wednesday's  game with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  an   8-5  victory over the Pueblo County Hornets. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the   9-3 win the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in September of 2024.
  Bella Moreno was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Sophia Perez, who  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with three  runs.
Pueblo Central's victory bumped their record up to 13-3-1. As for Pueblo County, their  loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-4.
 Coincidentally, Pueblo Central and Pueblo County will both be playing Pueblo South the next time they take the field. The Hornets will  host the Colts at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
