The Oroville Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Las Plumas and snuck past 51-48. For Oroville, this counts as revenge for the 44-35 defeat Las Plumas walked away with the last time they faced one another on Saturday.
Leading Oroville to victory were Leila Jackson and Serenity Miller. Jackson dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds, while Miller dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Miller has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played.
Oroville's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Las Plumas, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Oroville will head out on the road to face off against Corning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Corning comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Las Plumas, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Orland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
