Jacob Lemoine was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing five bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Bradley Wilson was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Austin Jones was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Horizon Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Georgia HomeSchool only posted an OBP of .269.
Meanwhile, Cherokee Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Central Georgia Arts two weeks ago and fell 8-7. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
