The St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots will face off against the Alhambra Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when St. Joseph Notre Dame and St. Patrick-St. Vincent meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. St. Joseph Notre Dame fell just short of St. Patrick-St. Vincent by a score of 6-5.

Isaiah Dumont was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and three RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nikko Flores, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one double.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alhambra). They were the clear victor by a 12-3 margin over Harbor on Saturday. The Bulldogs not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 14, 2024.
Ethan Kushner looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Morgan Tran was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. Those triples marked the first that he hit this season. Darrian Thornton was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Alhambra kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Alhambra now has a winning record of 3-2. As for St. Joseph Notre Dame, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
St. Joseph Notre Dame came out on top in a nail-biter against Alhambra when the teams last played back in March of 2022, sneaking past 3-2. Does St. Joseph Notre Dame have another victory up their sleeve, or will Alhambra turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
