The Pacheco Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took down Beyer 72-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Sasha S siemiller, who scored 33 points along with five steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Pacheco's points. Ashley Jimenez was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with three steals.
The win got Pacheco back to even at 10-10. As for Beyer, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pacheco will challenge Johansen at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Johansen is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Beyer, they will head out on the road to challenge Los Banos at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
