Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canyon Hills). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Monte Vista Monarchs 60-30. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-12.

Anayla Saulo had an outrageously good game as she went 7 for 9 on her way to 16 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiana Shakespeare, who posted nine points and seven rebounds.

Canyon Hills smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Canyon Hills now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Monte Vista, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Canyon Hills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-6 victory against Clairemont on the 10th. As for Monte Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-9 loss against West Hills on the 14th.
