Dodge County has gone a perfect 10-0 against Northeast recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Indians will welcome the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Dodge County barely beat Telfair County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Trojans on Wednesday. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by seven runs or more this season.

Kain Mincey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Dodge County is 4-2 when Mincey allows one or fewer earned runs, but 6-10 otherwise. Mincey was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Landon Sheffield was a standout: he scored two runs while going 1-for-2. He has become a key player for Dodge County: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 7-12 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Asher Pattillo, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Dodge County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast). They were the clear victors by a 19-5 margin over Twiggs County on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Cobras: they've now won eight in a row.
Northeast got a massive performance out of Zekendall Williams, who scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Williams also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Zahkie Denson was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing seven bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
The victory was the third in a row for Dodge County, bringing their record up to 10-12. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Northeast, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Dodge County has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Northeast struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Dodge County took their win against Northeast when the teams last played on Tuesday by a conclusive 18-3 score. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
