Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Coventry Christian, who are still winless after their fifth match. They were beaten by Linville Hill 50-16 on Tuesday. Coventry Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-10.
Veritas Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Coventry Christian, they bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
