The Sierra Timberwolves will head out on the road to face off against the Atwater Falcons at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Sierra beat Bret Harte 52-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sierra.
Sierra can attribute much of their success to Emma Gilmore, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Everett, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Atwater had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed by Gregori on the road to the tune of 81-46. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-21.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Sierra's victory pushed their record up to 2-0, while Bret Harte's loss dropped theirs down to 0-2.
