Cooper Kunis made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.
In other batting news, Ayden Dringenberg was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Brady Fearn was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Oakmont was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .410. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Colfax only posted a batting average of .185.
