La Quinta is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Saturday. They claimed a resounding  45-10 victory over Vistamar. The Aztecs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine  matchups by 20  points or more this season.
 La Quinta can attribute much of their success to   Katelyn Vo, who  dropped  a double-double with 17  points and ten  rebounds, and   Kaitlyn Mai, who  went 6-for-9  on her way to 12 points and five  boards. What's more,  Mai also posted a 67%  shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's  achieved since back in January of 2024.  Katie Nguyen was another key player,  putting up four points and five  steals.
Meanwhile, Serra waltzed into their contest  on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Colonists  42-39.
 Serra found their leader in sophomore  Kaicia Snelson, who  posted 15  points and five  steals. Serra is 6-1 when  Snelson posts three or  more  steals, but 10-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mariyah Lewis, who  put up nine points and six  boards.
 Serra's victory bumped their record up to 16-12. As for La Quinta, their win bumped their record up to 25-5.
