The JSerra Catholic Lions are on the road again on Wednesday and plays the Pacifica Mariners on February 14th. Neither JSerra Catholic nor Pacifica posted many goals in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but JSerra Catholic had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They never let the Chargers onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. The result kept JSerra Catholic happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 11th.
Their one-goal win came courtesy of
Bria Johnson, who's now up to three this season.
Meanwhile, Pacifica narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Trabuco Hills 1-0.
JSerra Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 11-3-6. As for Pacifica, their victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2-4.
Everything went JSerra Catholic's way against Pacifica in their previous meeting back in December of 2018 as JSerra Catholic made off with a 6-0 victory. Does JSerra Catholic have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pacifica turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
