St. Patrick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 75-53 to the Elberta Warriors. On the bright side, the 53- point effort marked the Fighting Irish's highest-scoring game to date.

St. Patrick's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Elberta, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, St. Patrick will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Vancleave at 7:30 p.m. The Fighting Irish will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.67 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Elberta, they will venture away from home to face off against Orange Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
