She looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  RBI and one  double.
 Allen wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Madison Cagle, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  double.
 Chandler  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters  every time they've taken the field this season.
Chandler's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Red Oak, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record  this season.
 Chandler has already played their next match,  an  11-1  win against Sperry on the 15th. As for Red Oak, they will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hartshorne at 5:00  p.m.  on  the 23rd.
